Line Producer, Independent Short Film

Seeking an experienced Line Producer for an upcoming independent short film, a quirky, character-driven comedy set in Los Angeles. This project offers a unique story with strong visual potential. We need someone to oversee pre-production logistics and on-set operations, ensuring everything runs efficiently and within budget. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating crew and resources, handling permits, and generally keeping our set organized and on track. You’ll be the central hub for all production practicalities. We're looking for a mid-level professional with a solid track record in short film production. Please have a portfolio or list of past projects demonstrating your prior experience in this role. Knowledge of local Los Angeles resources and vendors is a huge plus. Shoot dates are approximately 5-7 days in late July or early August, with some prep work beforehand. Daily rate is $500-800, depending on experience. We're a small production company, but committed to a professional and respectful set environment. Meals and craft services will be provided on set.
