Looking for an experienced Line Producer for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in Brooklyn, NY. This is a dramatic thriller with a grounded, gritty tone, exploring themes of urban isolation and paranoia. It's a character-driven piece that promises to be a challenging but rewarding project for the right person. Key responsibilities include overseeing all physical production logistics from pre-production through wrap, managing budgets, scheduling, location scouting, crew hiring, and vendor negotiations. You'll be the backbone of the production, ensuring we stay on track and within budget while maintaining our creative vision. We need someone with a strong background in independent feature film production, preferably with experience navigating the unique challenges of shooting in New York City. You should be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of production insurance, permits, and union guidelines (SAG micro-budget agreement for cast). Please have a proven track record (references and past project experience required) and be ready to hit the ground running. Shoot dates are approximately 25-30 days, likely in Fall 2024. Long production days are expected. We'll be providing all necessary production software and resources. This is a paid position, with a daily rate of $1000-1500, commensurate with experience.
