Entry Colorist, Feature Doc
Hey filmmakers, I’m putting out feelers for an entry-level colorist for an upcoming independent documentary feature. This isn't your typical doc, it's a character-driven piece blending intimate moments with some really stunning, expansive nature footage shot over a couple of years. We're looking for someone with a good eye who can help us establish a consistent, impactful look across varied source footage. You'll be responsible for working with the director to refine the film's aesthetic, performing primary and secondary corrections, and exporting deliverables. Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a must, and please have a reel or a few examples of your work, even if it's student projects or short films. This is for a Los Angeles based project. We're aiming to begin color work in late summer, early fall, exact dates TBD, and we can discuss scheduling to fit your availability. Compensation is TBD, focusing on finding the right creative partner for this journey. We'll be working in a relaxed, collaborative environment. Looking forward to seeing your work!
