Color Grading for Music Video

Music Video Color Grading Toronto, ON any Budget: Negotiable

Hey everyone, I'm Kyle, a fellow colorist, and I'm looking to bring on a talented DIT for an upcoming independent music video project here in Toronto. This is for an emerging indie artist, and the track is an atmospheric, synth-pop anthem with a dreamy, ethereal tone. We're aiming for really stylized, visually rich imagery that will benefit greatly from a technically solid DIT handling our media. Your primary responsibilities will include data wrangling on set, ensuring secure backups, generating dailies, and maintaining consistent color pipelines throughout the shoot. Experience with a variety of camera formats, especially those common in music video production, is a must. You'll need to provide your own DIT cart and essential hardware, and ideally, have a good understanding of on-set color management workflows. While experience is a plus, I'm open to working with DITs at any stage of their career, so don't hesitate to reach out if you're keen and can demonstrate a solid grasp of the fundamentals. Please include a link to your reel or resume showcasing relevant experience. The shoot dates are currently slated for late July, early August, over approximately 2-3 days, with potentially a couple prep days. Compensation is negotiable depending on experience. Looking forward to hearing from you!
