Colorist for Sci-Fi Drama Short

Short Film Color Grading Los Angeles, CA mid Budget: $300-500/day

Hey all, Terrence here, a DIT looking for a talented mid-level Colorist for an upcoming independent short film. This is a character-driven sci-fi drama, approximately 15 minutes, with a really unique visual style we're hoping to enhance in post. The story is quite atmospheric and deals with themes of memory and isolation, so your eye for mood and subtlety will be key. We're looking for someone to handle all color grading, ensuring creative consistency across the final edit. You'll be working closely with the director and myself, crafting the look from start to finish. We're planning around 2-3 days of work, flexible on exact dates but targeting late June to early July. It's a paid gig, $300-500/day depending on experience. Ideally, you'd have your own setup and software (DaVinci Resolve preferred, but open to others if you're a powerhouse). Please send over your reel, especially if you have experience with sci-fi or drama. We're based out of Los Angeles, so local candidates are a must. Looking forward to seeing your work!
