Senior Screenwriter, Corporate Explainer Videos (Remote OK)

Our independent production is seeking a talented Senior Screenwriter to craft compelling scripts for an upcoming series of corporate explainer videos. These aren't your typical dry corporate videos, we're aiming for engaging, slightly quirky, and intelligent content that breaks down complex tech concepts for a business audience. Think informative but with a clever, accessible tone. The ideal candidate will be adept at transforming technical jargon into clear, concise, and entertaining narratives. You'll be responsible for developing concepts, outlining video structures, and delivering polished scripts that align with client goals and our creative vision. We're looking for someone with extensive experience writing for corporate or educational content, ideally with a portfolio showcasing your knack for making intricate topics digestible and enjoyable. Please provide a reel or writing samples that demonstrate your ability to craft engaging narratives for informational videos. An understanding of B2B communication is a significant plus. While our base is Los Angeles, this position is open to remote candidates who can demonstrate excellent communication and self-management skills. Project timelines are flexible but typically run 2-4 weeks per video. We're looking to start this collaboration in the next 4-6 weeks. Compensation will be discussed based on experience.
