Entry-Level Screenwriter (Corporate Video)

Hey filmmakers! Our independent production team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic entry-level screenwriter to join us for an upcoming corporate video project. We're developing a series of engaging, informative videos, with a lighthearted yet professional tone, for a client in the tech sector. This is a great opportunity to get some real world experience and build your portfolio. As our screenwriter, you'll be responsible for brainstorming concepts, outlining key messages, and crafting compelling scripts that translate complex ideas into clear, concise, and entertaining content. We'll need you to work closely with our director and client contact, incorporating feedback effectively and delivering polished drafts on schedule. No significant prior corporate video experience is required, but you should have a strong grasp of storytelling fundamentals, excellent writing skills, and a passion for creating impactful narratives. Please share any samples of your writing, even short stories or creative essays, so we can get a feel for your style. This is a volunteer position, offering valuable credit on the final production and all meals provided during our New York City based shoots (remote work for writing is perfectly fine). Shoot dates are flexible, likely spread out over a few weeks in late summer. We're excited to hear from you!
