Commercial Screenwriter, Tech Brand

Hey all, Ray here, I'm usually slinging paint but helping out a friend on an upcoming commercial project and we're looking for a fresh voice to script a quick video. This spot is for an innovative tech startup, think sophisticated, a little quirky, and very visually driven. We want something that really pops and tells a story in a short amount of time. It's a national campaign, so it needs to resonate broadly. We need someone to develop a compelling narrative, write engaging dialogue (if any), and provide detailed scene descriptions. You'll be working closely with the director and creative lead to bring their vision to life. Experience writing for commercial spots or short-form content is a big plus, but we're open to entry-level talent with a strong portfolio showing creative storytelling. Please include a link to your screenwriting samples or reel. Shoot dates are still being finalized, but we anticipate a quick turnaround, likely a 2-3 day writing block in late May or early June. This is a paid gig, $1000-1500 per day depending on experience. Remote work is totally fine, but New York based is a bonus for some initial in-person conceptual meetings. We'll provide all necessary creative briefs and brand guidelines.
