Location Scout - Sci-Fi Web Series

Looking for an enthusiastic and organized Location Scout to join our independent sci-fi web series production in Stockholm. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a visually driven project with a dark, dystopian tone. We're building a world, and the locations are key to making it believable and atmospheric. Your primary responsibility will be researching, identifying, and securing suitable shooting locations within Stockholm and the surrounding areas. We're thinking industrial zones, brutalist architecture, underground spaces, and perhaps some unusual natural landscapes that can be given a sci-fi spin. You'll need to photograph potential sites, document logistical details (access, power, noise), and help negotiate usage agreements. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to get their foot in the door in film production. While no specific gear is required, owning a decent camera (even a smartphone with good quality) for snapping location photos is really helpful. Experience on other independent productions, even student films, is a plus. We are looking for someone with a good eye for aesthetics and strong organizational skills. A portfolio of location scouting work, even if just personal projects, would be fantastic. Shoot dates are approximately late summer/early autumn, likely 2-3 days a week for a few weeks. This is a partnership opportunity, meaning you'll receive an equity share in the project. We'll handle travel expenses for scouting and provide a general production liability insurance cover for secured locations. Come help us bring this vision to life!
