Locations Production Assistant, Commercial

Hey everyone, Simone here, a 2nd AD on an upcoming commercial shoot in Vancouver. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Locations Production Assistant to join our team for a high-energy commercial focusing on a popular lifestyle brand. It's a really fun concept, upbeat and visually dynamic, and a great opportunity to get some commercial experience under your belt. You'll be primarily assisting our Locations Manager with various tasks on and off set, this includes things like helping with location prep and breakdown, managing parking, ensuring smooth access for crew and equipment, general signage, dealing with any location-specific issues that pop up, and keeping the area tidy. You'll be the eyes and ears for our Locations department on set, so a proactive attitude is key. This is an entry-level position, so no extensive experience is required, but a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and good communication skills are a must. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are a huge plus, as you might need to run errands or transport small items. Shoot dates are approximately late June for 3-4 days, with typical 10-12 hour shoot days. We're offering paid compensation of $100-200/day, depending on experience.
