Colorist, Feature Film (Volunteer)

Hey Colorists. My name is Antoine Marsh, I'm a Camera Operator working on an independent feature film shooting here in New Orleans. We're looking for a passionate Colorist to join our post-production team on a volunteer basis. This is a passion project, a unique psychological thriller with a dark, atmospheric tone. We've got some really interesting visual storytelling, and your color work will be crucial in enhancing the film's gritty aesthetic and emotional impact. As our Colorist, you'll be responsible for primary and secondary color correction, creating and applying looks, and ensuring consistency throughout the film. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for detail and the ability to translate visual concepts into a compelling color grade. Experience with DaVinci Resolve or similar software is a must. Please share your reel or a portfolio of your past color work. We anticipate post-production to begin around late summer, early fall. The hours will be flexible, working remotely in consultation with our director and editor. While this is a volunteer position, it's a great opportunity to gain feature film credits and collaborate on a truly exciting and challenging project. We're a dedicated crew, and we're looking forward to bringing someone on board who shares our passion for filmmaking.
