Web Series Colorist (Entry Level), Deferred Pay
Hey folks, I'm helping out with an upcoming independent web series and we're looking for an entry-level Colorist to join our post-production team. This is a dramatic comedy, kind of a coming-of-age story with some really unique characters, think 'Atlanta' meets 'Pen15' in tone. We've got some great footage and need someone with a keen eye to help us bring out the visual best. You'll be working closely with the director to establish and maintain a consistent look for the series, ensuring the visuals support the storytelling. We're looking for someone who's comfortable with DaVinci Resolve, has a solid understanding of color theory, and can deliver consistent results across multiple episodes. You'll need to have your own system and software. No extensive professional experience is required, but you should have a strong portfolio or reel demonstrating your color grading skills, even if it's just personal projects or student work. This is a deferred compensation project, offering points in the series as well. We anticipate post-production will run for about 4-6 weeks, roughly 15-20 hours a week, all remote work initially with some potential for in-person sessions in Los Angeles later on as needed. We're a passionate crew and this is a great opportunity to get some solid credits and build your professional network. Send over your reel and a quick note about why you're interested.
