Colorist for Atmospheric Thriller Short

We're looking for a skilled Colorist to join our independent production, a dark, atmospheric thriller short film shooting in Auckland. This project blends psychological tension with visceral horror, offering unique creative opportunities for impactful grading. Your main responsibility will be bringing our director's vision to life, enhancing the mood and narrative through expert color correction and grading. We need someone with a strong reel demonstrating mid-level experience on similar short films or independent features. You should be proficient with industry-standard software (DaVinci Resolve preferred) and ideally have access to your own calibrated monitoring setup, though we have a reference monitor available. Our shoot dates are currently slated for late August, with the color work to be completed in the weeks following. Expect approximately 2-3 full days of work. We're offering a rate of $1000-1500 per day, dependent on experience and equipment. We'll provide all necessary project files and clear communication throughout the process.
