1st AC, Comedy Web Series

Hey everyone, Nelson Ford here, Rigging Gaffer on an upcoming independent web series. We're looking for a sharp 1st AC to join our team for a fast-paced, character-driven comedy. Think quirky humor, a bit surreal at times, and definitely a chance to do some interesting camera moves. This role is crucial for keeping our schedule on track and ensuring we get the best possible images. Key responsibilities include pulling focus flawlessly, managing the camera package, and assisting our DP with lens changes and setup. You'll also be responsible for maintaining camera reports and working closely with our Gaffer (me!). We're shooting on an ARRI Mini LF package. We need someone with at least a couple of indie web series or short film credits as a 1st AC. Experience with ARRI cameras is a big plus. Please include your reel and details of relevant experience in your application. Shoot dates are approximately 5 weeks, starting mid-October in New York City. We anticipate 10-12 hour days. Production will provide a daily meal stipend and transportation to set outside of Manhattan. Pay is competitive, ranging from $2000-$3000 per week, depending on experience.
