1st AC, Independent Pilot (LA)

Hey everyone, Megan here. I'm helping crew up an independent pilot for a sci-fi drama, imagine Black Mirror or Devs vibes. It’s a super cool script with a lot of atmosphere and some really interesting visual challenges we’re excited to tackle. We're looking for a 1st AC to join our small, dedicated team. Your main responsibilities will be pulling focus, managing camera equipment, and ensuring everything is meticulously prepped and maintained. We'll be working with an Arri Alexa Mini. You should have your own basic kit (follow focus, monitor, measuring tools, etc.) and a good understanding of various camera systems, even though we're using the Mini. Prior experience on at least a few short films or independent projects is a must, and please send over your reel or a list of projects you've worked on so we can see your work. Shoot dates are approximately late July/early August, 3-4 days total. We're aiming for 10-12 hour days. Lunch and crafty will be provided on set. It's a paid gig, $150-300 per day depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to get some experience on a compelling project that could really go places. Looking forward to hearing from you!
