1st AC (First Assistant Camera), Miami Commercial Shoot

Hey everyone, Marco DeLuca here (I usually swim with the cameras). I'm seeking a skilled 1st AC for an upcoming commercial project in Miami, FL. This is a dynamic, high-energy shoot for a local brand, focusing on lifestyle and aspirational vibes, with a lot of movement and some tricky focus pulls. We're looking for someone organized, with sharp eyes and quick hands, to keep our camera department running smoothly. Key responsibilities include pulling focus, managing focus marks, maintaining cameras and lenses, and assisting the DP with setups and tears downs. We’ll be shooting on a Red package, so familiarity with that system is a plus, but not essential if you're a quick study. You should have your own follow focus, monitor, and necessary tools for the job. Please have a reel or a list of recent projects you've AC’d on ready to share. The shoot dates are tentatively set for early to mid-September, with an estimated 2-3 day schedule, potentially longer depending on the final shot list. We’re offering deferred compensation (points plus deferred payment formula) for this independent production. Snacks, water, and lunch on set will be provided. Let’s make something cool!
