1st AC, Commercial Shoot (Entry Level)

Hey everyone, Ricky here, I'm a Playback Op and putting together a small crew for an upcoming commercial shoot. We're looking for a motivated and organized 1st AC to join our team for a fast-paced product spot. It's a fun, energetic vibe, think bright visuals and quick cuts. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to get experience on a paid commercial set. Your main responsibilities will include pulling sharp focus, managing camera gear (lenses, cards, batteries), and assisting the DP with set-up and breakdown. You'll be working closely with a small, collaborative team. We're looking for someone with some basic camera assisting experience, even if it's mostly on student films or personal projects. A strong understanding of camera operation, especially a Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro, is a plus. Please have a basic gear package (AC tools, tape, cleaning supplies) ready to go. A reel, even a short one showcasing your work, would be great. The shoot is planned for two non-consecutive days in late July, exact dates TBD but likely a weekend and a weekday. Expect 10-12 hour days. We'll provide craft services and meals on set. We're offering $300-500/day depending on experience. Come join us!
