1st AC (First Assistant Camera) Web Series

Hey everyone, Leah here, a Post-Production Supervisor on an upcoming independent web series. We're looking for an experienced 1st AC to join our small, tight-knit crew, probably starting mid-July. This project is a darkly comedic horror series, think 'What We Do in the Shadows' meets 'Cabin in the Woods,' so we need someone who can keep up with a fast pace and contribute to a really specific visual style. We're aiming for a polished, cinematic look despite our indie budget. Your main gig will be pulling focus, managing camera gear, and generally being the DP's right hand. We'll be shooting on an ARRI Alexa Mini, so familiarity with that system is a must. You'll also be responsible for camera prep, basic maintenance, and ensuring consistent workflow. We need someone with at least 3-5 years of professional 1st AC experience, specifically on narrative projects. Please have your own follow focus system and necessary tools handy. A strong reel showcasing your focus-pulling skills and attention to detail is essential. We're planning for 5-day work weeks, 10-12 hour days, for about 4 weeks.
