1st AC, Sci-Fi Web Series, Atlanta GA

Seeking a Senior 1st AC for an upcoming sci-fi web series shooting in Atlanta, GA, with approximate shoot dates late March/early April initially, and flexible hours around a 10-day block. This is a deferred compensation position with a backend percentage. We're producing a 6-episode arc covering a psychological thriller with elements of cosmic horror, blending cerebral tension with visually unsettling practical effects. The story follows a crew on a deep space mission facing existential threats. Key responsibilities include managing camera equipment, pulling focus in challenging low-light environments, performing intricate lens changes, and collaborating closely with the DP and Steadicam operator (myself). You'll be expected to provide your own professional camera kit, including follow focus, matte box, and a comprehensive set of primes/zooms. Please have at least 5 years of experience in similar senior roles on narrative projects. A strong reel showcasing your focus pulling skills and technical expertise is required. We're a small production company offering a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to a visually ambitious project with potential for festival runs and distribution.
