Camera Operator, Web Series (Horror-Comedy)
New York City, early August (approx. 5-7 shoot days). We're making a short-form horror-comedy web series, think 'What We Do in the Shadows' meets 'Fleabag', with a unique found-footage twist. We need a skilled Camera Operator to help bring our vision to life. You'll be responsible for operating the primary camera, framing shots, executing camera movements, and working closely with the Cinematographer and Director to ensure a consistent visual style. This isn't a sit-still kind of shoot, expect dynamic camera work and some handheld operating. You'll need to bring your own camera package (e.g., Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro, Sony FX3, Canon C70, or similar cinema camera with a good set of lenses) and basic support gear. We're looking for someone with senior-level experience on narrative projects, someone who understands blocking and coverage, and can offer creative input. Please provide a link to your reel showcasing your camera operating work. Shoot days will be 10-12 hours, sometimes into the night. We'll provide craft services, lunch, and transportation for gear beyond a certain size. This is an independent production, so communication and a collaborative spirit are key.
