Art Coordinator, Drama Short Film

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for an Art Coordinator to join the crew of our upcoming independent short drama. It's a character-driven piece exploring themes of loss and reconciliation, with a focus on intimate, atmospheric visual storytelling. We're aiming for a slightly surreal, almost dreamlike aesthetic in places, using practical effects and thoughtful set dressing to build that world. As our Art Coordinator, you'll be working closely with the production designer to bring their vision to life. Key responsibilities include prop sourcing and management, set dressing, assisting with practical scenic elements, and ensuring continuity. We need someone who can hit the ground running, has a keen eye for detail, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. Ideally, you'll have experience on at least a few short film sets in an art department role. Please share your reel or a portfolio of your work, even if it's just stills. We're shooting in Los Angeles for approximately 3-4 days in late June or early July (exact dates TBD). It'll be 10-12 hour days. We'll handle craft services, provide transportation to locations if needed, and all necessary materials for art department builds. Compensation is $100-200 per day, depending on experience.
