Senior Art Director, Indie Feature

Hey everyone, we're looking to bring on a Senior Art Director for an upcoming independent feature film. It's a dark comedy, kind of Coen Brothers meets Wes Anderson, with a really unique visual style we're excited to develop. We need someone who can translate our concept art and director's vision into a cohesive, imaginative world on a tight budget. You'll be overseeing set design, prop sourcing, and supervising the art department crew. We're looking for someone with significant experience as an Art Director, preferably on features or high-end shorts, who’s comfortable leading a team and getting creative with limited resources. A strong portfolio demonstrating your design aesthetic and problem-solving skills is a must. This is a deferred compensation gig, offering a backend percentage. We're aiming to shoot for about 4-5 weeks, likely late spring/early summer in the Los Angeles area. Specific dates are TBD but flexible. We’ll be providing all necessary materials and a workspace.
