Art Department PA, Independent Feature Film

Hey everyone, Naomi here, out reaching on behalf of our team for an Art Department Production Assistant for an upcoming independent feature film. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama, with a focus on realism and an emotional tone. We're a tight-knit crew, and this is a great chance to get some hands-on experience on a feature. You'll be assisting our Production Designer and Art Director with a variety of tasks, including prop sourcing, set dressing, organization, and general on-set support. You'll need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in where needed. No specific gear required, just a good attitude and willingness to learn. Some previous experience, even on shorts or student films, is a plus, but we're open to enthusiastic newcomers. If you have a portfolio or examples of your creative work, we'd love to see it, but it's not essential. Shoot dates are approximately late July to early August, for about 15-20 days, based in Los Angeles. Expect 10-12 hour days. We'll provide craft services, lunch, and a positive working environment. Compensation is a flat rate of $250 per day. Looking forward to hearing from you!
