Line Producer, Austin Feature Film

Filming in Austin, TX this August for approximately 20-25 days, we're seeking a seasoned Line Producer for an independent dramatic feature. This isn't your typical indie drama, it's got a unique blend of dark comedy and psychological thriller elements that will keep audiences guessing. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running with smart budgeting, scheduling, and logistical oversight. Your main responsibilities will involve managing our production budget, securing locations, overseeing crew hires, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the shoot. You’ll be the financial and logistical backbone, making sure we stay on track and on budget. Candidates should have at least 2-3 feature film credits as a Line Producer or significant experience as a UPM on larger productions. A strong network of local crew and vendors in Austin is a big plus. Please provide a resume and, if applicable, a link to a project you’ve line produced. We expect long shoot days, typically 12 hours, but will ensure appropriate breaks. Compensation is $500-800/day, depending on experience. We're a small production company, but committed to making a great film and treating our crew right. We’ll provide all necessary production software and resources.
