Production Design for Feature Film

Hey everyone, Fatima here. We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative entry-level Production Designer for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in London. This is a dramatic thriller, a character-driven story with some unique visual opportunities that will really benefit from a strong design aesthetic. We need someone who can help us define the overall look and feel, source props, dress sets, and generally bring our script to life visually. You’ll be working closely with the director and DP. We’re an independent production, so resourcefulness and a can-do attitude are key. Previous experience in an art department role, even student films or short forms, is a big plus. Strong understanding of set dressing, prop management, and art direction principles preferred. Please have a portfolio or reel showcasing your work. We are aiming to shoot late summer, early autumn, likely 4-5 weeks. This is a passion project for all involved, so compensation is on a deferred basis, including points in the film. We'll provide materials budgets and support for sourcing, but your creative vision is what we're really after. Excited to hear from you.
