Colorist, Independent Feature Film

Feature Film Color Grading Atlanta, GA mid Budget: $250/day flat

Hey folks, we're on the hunt for a talented mid-level Colorist for an upcoming independent feature film. It's a gritty, character-driven drama set in the heart of Atlanta. Think nuanced storytelling with a powerful emotional core. We're looking for someone who can elevate the visual language and bring a distinctive, grounded look to our project. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with the director and DP to establish and execute the film's color palette, performing primary and secondary grading, and ensuring color consistency across all deliverables. You'll be working with ProRes footage. We need someone with at least 3-5 years of experience coloring narrative features or high-end shorts. Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve is a must. Please send over your reel when you apply, we're really keen to see your work. Having your own calibrated suite is a plus, but we can make arrangements if needed. We're aiming for a post-production start around late summer, early fall, exact dates TBD but we're expecting a solid 3-4 week commitment, 10-hour days. This is a paid position at $250/day (flat rate). Lunch and snacks will be provided on working days. This is a great opportunity to make your mark on a truly compelling story.
