Line Producer, Dramatic Short Film

Hey all, Rosa here, I usually sling snacks but I'm helping a friend find a Line Producer for their upcoming dramatic short film, 'Echoes in the Canyon.' It's a really moving story, a psychological drama about grief and memory, set in the desert. We're looking for someone to oversee the physical production from pre-production through principal photography, keeping us on track and within our (deferred) budget. Your main responsibilities would be managing schedules, hiring crew (with director input, of course), handling logistics, and making sure we're good to go on location. Basically, keeping the wheels on the bus so the creative team can focus on the art. We're open to all experience levels, from seasoned pros to folks looking for their first LP credit on a short. What matters most is enthusiasm, organization, and a knack for problem-solving. Since this is an independent production, you'll need to be resourceful. We'll provide some basic production insurance and a little bit for hard costs upfront, but a lot of this will be deferred. Shoot dates are tentatively planned for late June or early July, approximately 5-6 days. We're based in Los Angeles so local crew is a must.
