Line Producing for Short Film

Looking for an experienced Line Producer to help us bring an exciting indie short film to life. This is a dramatic thriller with psychological elements, set to shoot in and around Albuquerque. We're aiming for a grounded, intense tone, and the script has some really interesting practical challenges that an organized LP will love tackling. Your main responsibilities will include developing and managing the budget, scheduling, coordinating logistics for our small crew, and ensuring we stay on track during pre-production and production. You'll work closely with the director and me (I'm the rigging grip but helping get this off the ground). We're focused on making a high-quality product responsibly. We're looking for someone with at least mid-level experience in line producing short films or similar independent productions. A strong understanding of independent film budgeting and New Mexico film resources is a plus, but not strictly required if you can adapt. Please provide a resume, and if you have any production reports or budget samples from past projects (redacted, of course) it would be great to see your style. Shoot dates are approximately 4-5 days, likely late spring 2024. We're expecting 10-12 hour days during production. Compensation is $100-200/day, negotiable based on experience. We'll provide some meals on set and cover approved production expenses. This role can be fully remote for pre-production, with on-ground presence in Albuquerque required during the shoot.
