Line Producer, Indie Feature (Portland, OR)

Hey everyone, I'm a Production Designer on an upcoming independent feature film here in Portland and we're on the hunt for a fantastic Line Producer to join our team. It's a dark comedy, kind of a quirky character study with some big heart, and we're really excited about the script. We need someone who can keep us on track, financially and logistically, from pre-production through post. You'll be overseeing the budget, managing schedules, negotiating with vendors, and generally being the backbone of the production. We're looking for someone with solid experience in independent film, preferably with at least one feature under their belt. You should be resourceful, a great problem-solver, and comfortable working with a passionate, if sometimes a little chaotic, crew. Shoot dates are looking like late summer/early fall, subject to some flexibility, and we're envisioning a 4-5 week principal photography period. This is a mid-level position, so we're expecting someone who can really hit the ground running. Compensation is TBD, and we can discuss specifics based on experience. We're a small, tight-knit crew, and we're looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for making a great film.
