Line Producing for Short Film

Hey filmmakers, I'm Megan, a Script Supervisor, and our independent short film is looking for a Line Producer. This is a dramatic short, a character study with a psychological thriller edge that explores themes of memory and grief. We have an incredibly talented cast and a compelling script that we're all really excited about, and we need someone to help bring it all together logistically. As our Line Producer, you'll be instrumental in developing and managing the budget, overseeing scheduling, coordinating crew and equipment, and ensuring a smooth production process from prep through wrap. You'll be the organizational backbone of our shoot. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to gain significant experience in the physical production side of filmmaking. We're looking for someone highly organized, a great communicator, and someone who can problem-solve on the fly with a positive attitude. Shoot dates are approximately 5 days in mid-August in Los Angeles, likely 10-12 hour days. Compensation is $150-300 per day, negotiable based on experience.
