Mid-Level VFX Artist, Feature Film (Bristol)

Hey everyone, Emma Gallagher here. We're looking for a talented mid-level VFX Artist for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in Bristol. It's a gritty, character-driven drama with elements of dark comedy, think early Coen Brothers meets British social realism. We'll need someone to handle a variety of compositing tasks, some set extensions, and potentially a few practical effect enhancements. Your day-to-day will involve working closely with our Post-Production Supervisor and Director to bring our vision to life. This isn't a massive blockbuster, so creativity and problem-solving are key. We're looking for someone with solid experience in Nuke, and ideally a working knowledge of Maya or Houdini for simpler 3D elements. Please have a strong showreel demonstrating your compositing and tracking skills, particularly grounded, realistic effects. We don't have massive resources, so we're looking for someone who can work efficiently. Dates are approximate, but we anticipate needing you for 6-8 weeks starting late spring. We're offering a competitive rate, TBD based on experience. We'll provide workstations and software. Excited to see your work!
