Art Department for Short Film

Hey everyone, I'm Carla, and I'm putting together a crew for an exciting, independent short film. It's a dark comedy, kind of a quirky take on mundane office life, with lots of visual humor in the set design. We're looking for an Art Assistant to join our team. You'll be working closely with our Production Designer, helping with prop sourcing, set dressing, and general organization of the art department. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and build your portfolio, regardless of your experience level. No specific gear is required, just a good eye for detail and enthusiasm. While a reel or examples of previous work are a plus, we're really looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. We anticipate shooting for 3-4 days in mid-July, likely on weekends. Exact dates are TBD but flexible. We’ll be shooting in various locations around Manhattan and Brooklyn. As this is a passion project, it's a volunteer position, but we'll definitely be providing meals and you'll get a copy of the final film for your reel. Looking forward to hearing from you!
