Art Department for Web Series

Hey Detroit crew, we're looking for an enthusiastic Art Assistant to join our independent web series production. This is a dramatic comedy, think 'Atlanta' meets 'High Maintenance,' exploring the quirks of city life with a surrealist edge. We're aiming for a really unique look and vibe, so your input will be genuinely valued. As an Art Assistant, you'll be helping the Art Director with set dressing, prop sourcing, and general organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience in a busy art department. No specific gear needed on your end, just a creative eye and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you’ll have some art or production experience, even if it's just student films or personal projects. A portfolio or examples of your creative work (even sketches or mood boards) would be great to see, but not strictly required for this entry-level role. Shoot dates are approximately late June/early July, spread over 3-4 weekends, mostly 10-12 hour days. We'll be providing transportation to locations and meals on set. We're a friendly, collaborative team dedicated to making cool stuff. Hope to hear from you!
