Art Assistant (Commercial, Vancouver)

Hey Vancouver crew! Our small production company is looking for a talented Art Assistant to join us for an upcoming commercial shoot. This project is a visually striking, modern commercial for a local tech brand, focusing on sleek production design and a clean aesthetic. We need someone with a keen eye for detail and the willingness to jump in on all aspects of art department work, from prop sourcing and set dressing to assisting our Art Director with concept execution. You'll be helping bring our vision to life on set. We're looking for someone with around 2-3 years of experience in art departments, ideally on commercials or short-form content. While you don't need to bring your own specialized gear, having a basic kit of art department tools (tape measure, utility knife, etc.) is a plus. Please share your reel or a portfolio showcasing your relevant work. Shoot dates are approximate, currently penciled in for late July (3-4 days), with prep days before. Expect standard 10-12 hour shoot days. We’ll cover your meals on set and provide transportation if needed for specific tasks. This is a great opportunity to work on a cool project and expand your portfolio!
