Location Scout/Manager, Commercial Shoot

Hey Nashville film folks, I'm Andre, a composer, working on a new commercial project and looking for a talented Location Scout and Manager. This spot is for a local music-related service, with a warm, authentic vibe focusing on practical, engaging environments. We need someone who can find and manage some great Nashville locations that really capture that community feel. Your main responsibilities will include scouting viable locations based on our creative brief, negotiating usage agreements, handling permits, managing location logistics during the shoot, and being the primary point of contact for all location-related matters. We're looking for someone with mid-level experience in commercial or independent film production, ideally with a good understanding of Nashville's unique offerings. While specific gear isn't required for this role, strong communication skills and a solid network of contacts in the area are a big plus. Experience with location agreements and permits is essential. Please share your reel or a portfolio showcasing your past location work. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late June/early July, approximately 3-4 days of shooting. This is an independent production, so while compensation is deferred (points plus deferred), it's a chance to build your portfolio with a strong local commercial. We provide mileage reimbursement and a per diem for shoot days. Excited to hear from you.
