Corporate Video Screenwriter (Senior) - Austin, TX

This isn't your typical dry corporate fare, we're aiming for something engaging and story-driven for a tech startup, with a focus on their innovative product. Think informative but with a touch of modern, sleek storytelling. The tone will be professional yet approachable, aiming to clarify complex ideas for a broad audience. Your main responsibilities will involve collaborating to develop compelling concepts, drafting initial outlines and treatments, and writing polished scripts based on client feedback. We'll need someone who can translate technical jargon into clear, concise, and persuasive dialogue and narration. You'll work closely with me and the director to ensure the script aligns with the visual and audio goals of the project. We're looking for someone with extensive experience writing for corporate or commercial video, a strong portfolio showcasing your work in this area is a must. Flexibility with revisions and a keen eye for detail are also key. While you don't need any special gear, you must have your own reliable writing software and a solid understanding of corporate video best practices. Project dates are flexible but we're looking to start in the next few weeks, with a turnaround of approximately 1-2 weeks for the initial draft.
