Line Producing for Documentary

Documentary Line Producing Vancouver, BC senior Budget: $150-300/day

Hey Vancouver film crew. I'm putting out a call for an experienced Line Producer for an upcoming independent documentary project. This film delves into the fascinating world of urban foraging and community food initiatives, exploring sustainability and connection in a really intimate, observational style. It’s got a hopeful but grounded tone, looking at how people are rethinking their relationship with food in our cities. We’re looking for someone to really own the logistical side of things, from budgeting and scheduling to securing permits, coordinating crew, and managing day-to-day operations during production. Basically, keeping everything on track and making sure we can tell this story effectively. You'll work closely with the director and production manager to ensure a smooth shoot. We need someone with several years of line producing experience, specifically in documentary film. Strong organizational skills are a must, along with a good network of local contacts in Vancouver. Please send over your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience. Shoot dates are approximate, looking at late summer/early fall for principal photography, likely 5-day weeks. Compensation is $150-300 per day, dependent on experience, and we'll provide all necessary production insurance and administrative support. Excited to hear from you.
