Senior VFX Artist, Music Video (Volunteer)

Hey everyone, my name is Tyler and I'm a camera operator on an upcoming independent music video project here in Vancouver. We're looking for a senior VFX artist to join our passionate crew. This is a really cool concept, a psychedelic art-rock video with a strong visual narrative, and we're aiming for a dreamlike, surreal aesthetic. We've got some challenging but exciting shots planned that will heavily rely on your expertise to bring them to life on screen. Your main responsibilities will include contributing to shot breakdowns, creating and compositing visual effects elements, green screen keying, and tracking. We're looking for someone with extensive experience in a professional VFX pipeline, a strong understanding of compositing principles, and a keen eye for detail. Please include a link to your reel showcasing your best work in your application. While we can't offer monetary compensation right now, we're providing meals on set and a copy of the finished video for your reel. Shoot dates are approximately late June, early July, and we anticipate a few full days on set plus some remote work for post-production. It's a great opportunity to collaborate on a visually ambitious project and get some standout material for your portfolio.
