Web Series DP, Sci-Fi Thriller, Deferred Pay

Looking for a talented and experienced Director of Photography for a thrilling independent web series. This is a gritty, character-driven sci-fi thriller with a unique time-bending premise. It's a passion project, but we're aiming for a high-quality, professional look. We've got a killer script and a dedicated team, just need someone to help bring our vision to life. You'll be responsible for all aspects of cinematography, from lighting design to shot composition and managing the camera department if we can expand the crew. We're looking for someone who can work creatively within a limited budget and still deliver stunning visuals. You'll need to have your own camera package (e.g., Blackmagic, Red, or similar cinema camera) and basic lighting kit. A strong reel showcasing your narrative work, especially in genre pieces, is essential. This is a senior-level position. We're estimating 10-12 shoot days, likely spread over weekends and some weekdays, in September/October. Specific dates are TBD, flexible based on cast and crew availability. Hours will be long but rewarding. Craft services and essential production needs will be covered.
