Hey everyone, Damon here. I'm posting for an upcoming independent commercial project shooting in New York, NY, and we're looking for a sharp Production Coordinator. This is for a series of upbeat, lifestyle-focused spots for a new tech product, with a quick turnaround and a fun, energetic vibe. It's a great opportunity to get hands-on experience with a mid-sized commercial crew. Your main responsibilities will include managing shoot schedules, coordinating talent and crew logistics, handling location permits, organizing equipment rentals, and generally supporting the production team to keep things running smoothly. This role is crucial for keeping our set organized and efficient. We're looking for someone with around 2-4 years of experience in production coordination, ideally with some commercial background. You should be highly organized, a great communicator, and able to troubleshoot on the fly. Experience with production management software (like StudioBinder or similar) is a plus. Shoot dates are approximate, currently looking at a 3-4 day shoot in late July, with some prep days beforehand. Hours will be standard 10-12 hour days.
