Camera for Web Series
Hey everyone, I'm a Camera Operator working on an exciting new independent web series here in Vancouver, and we're looking for a top-notch 1st Assistant Camera to join our team. It's a comedic drama, exploring some quirky family dynamics with a really heartfelt core. Think dry humor meets genuine emotion, a great opportunity for some nuanced visual storytelling. Your main gig will be pulling sharp focus, managing lens changes, and generally keeping our camera department running smoothly. We'll be shooting on a Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro, so familiarity with that system is a big plus. We're looking for someone with senior-level experience, ideally with a solid drama background, and able to troubleshoot on the fly. Please share your reel or a list of projects you've worked on, especially focusing on your AC work. Shoot dates are approximate but looking at late July for about 10-12 days of principal photography, likely 10-hour days. We'll handle craft services and transportation for gear. This is a paid position, $150-300 per day depending on experience. Really looking forward to hearing from some talented folks who are ready to jump into a fun, challenging project.
