Camera Operator, Commercial Short

Hey filmmakers, I'm a motion graphics artist working on a cool, independent commercial spot for a specialty coffee brand. It's a stylized, stop-motion inspired piece with live-action elements, aiming for a warm, artisanal feel. We're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Camera Operator to help bring this vision to life. Your main responsibilities will involve operating our primary camera, assisting with shot composition, and ensuring consistent image quality throughout the shoot. We'll be working with precise movements and lighting setups due to the stop-motion aesthetic, so attention to detail is key. You'll need to bring your own camera package, preferably a mirrorless or DSLR setup capable of 4K recording, along with a basic lens kit and tripod. Having experience with similar stylized projects or stop-motion techniques is a big plus, but not strictly required. Please share a reel or examples of your previous camera work. Shoot dates are approximately two to three days in late July, exact dates TBD based on crew availability. Expect 8-10 hour days. We'll be shooting in a studio space in Brooklyn. Craft services and some basic gear (lights, grip equipment) will be provided. This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a unique commercial project and expand your portfolio.
