Art Department for Short Film

Hey Vancouver crew! We’re looking for a skilled Art Coordinator to join an independent short film crew. This is a dark fantasy piece, think atmospheric and visually driven, with a compelling character journey at its core. We’ve got some really cool practical effects planned and a unique world to build, so it’s a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves to get creative with set dressing and props. As our Art Coordinator, you'd be essential in organizing and acquiring props, set pieces, and wardrobe, working closely with the production designer. Responsibilities include tracking inventory, coordinating rentals/purchases, and managing the art department budget. We definitely need someone with a mid-level amount of experience in art department roles, a strong eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late September, early October, primarily over 3-4 days in and around Vancouver. Hours will be standard 10-12 hour days.
