Senior Screenwriter, Sci-Fi Pilot

Looking for a seasoned screenwriter to join our independent production team for an upcoming sci-fi pilot. This project has a dark, psychological thriller tone think 'Black Mirror' meets 'Annihilation' with a unique twist on parallel realities. We're developing a truly compelling story that we believe has strong series potential. Your main responsibility will be to lead the script development, working closely with the director and producers to refine the story, characters, and dialogue. We need someone who can craft intricate narratives and compelling character arcs within the sci-fi genre. We're seeking a senior writer with a proven track record in genre storytelling. Please have a strong portfolio or produced work highlighting your experience with sci-fi, thriller, or complex narrative structures. While this is a deferred compensation role (backend percentage), we are committed to making this project a success and seeing it through to market. Approximate writing period will be 8-10 weeks, with flexible hours. This is a collaborative environment, so strong communication skills are key. Candidates should be based in or able to work remotely from Miami, FL.
