Feature Film Screenwriter (All Levels)

Hey everyone, Simone here. I'm part of an independent production team looking for a talented screenwriter for our upcoming feature film. This project is a gritty psychological thriller, think less jump scares and more slow-burn tension, with some really interesting moral dilemmas at its core. We're aiming for a tone that's both unsettling and thought-provoking. We’ve got a strong concept and an outline, but we need someone to really bring the characters and dialogue to life, flesh out the plot, and deliver a compelling script. Responsibilities include developing character arcs, crafting engaging dialogue, outlining scene beats, and collaborating closely with the director on revisions. We’re open to writers at any experience level, as long as you have a unique voice and a passion for storytelling. Please send over a writing sample, preferably a completed screenplay or a significant portion of one, that showcases your ability to write compelling drama or thrillers. This isn’t a rush job, we’re looking to start the writing process in the next few months, likely 5-6 weeks of focused work, but we're flexible.
