Senior Art Director, Pilot (Deferred)

Hey all. We're looking for a senior Art Director for a dark sci-fi pilot we're shooting in LA. Think Blade Runner meets Black Mirror, super stylized and gritty, lots of practical effects and atmosphere. It's an independent production with big aspirations, and we need someone who can really bring the world to life on a tight budget. You'll be responsible for leading visual concept development, overseeing set design and construction, managing props, and working closely with the director and DP to create striking visuals. We're looking for someone with extensive experience in art direction for narrative film, a strong portfolio showcasing your work (especially in sci-fi or similar genres), and excellent problem-solving skills. You should also be comfortable working with a small, dedicated team. We anticipate shooting late July to early August, flexible schedule but expect long days. We'll provide a small budget for materials and some crew support, but you'll need to be resourceful. This is a deferred compensation gig, backend percentage for the right person.
