Art Assistant, Sci-Fi Web Series

Seeking an enthusiastic Art Assistant for an upcoming independent sci-fi web series, shooting in Brooklyn. This project is a gritty, character-driven story set in a near-future New York, blending cyberpunk aesthetics with a strong dramatic core. We're looking for someone to help bring our world to life, contributing to set dressing, prop sourcing/fabrication, and general art department support. Key responsibilities include assisting the Production Designer with research, material acquisition, organizing the art department workspace, and hands-on creation of visual elements. Some light painting or craftwork may be involved. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to get their foot in the door. No specific gear is required, but a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude are essential. Experience with basic power tools or crafting is a plus. Please share a portfolio or examples of any relevant creative work you've done, even personal projects. Shoot dates are approximately 4-6 days in late August/early September, with some prep days beforehand. Hours will be typical production days, 10-12 hours. Lunch and craft services will be provided on set. This is a deferred pay position, with the aim of seeking festival distribution and future monetization.
