Camera for Web Series

Web Series Camera Montreal, QC senior Budget: $150-300/day

Shooting in Montreal, QC, for roughly 10-12 days spread across November 2026, we're seeking a skilled 1st AC for an independent web series. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama, exploring themes of resilience and urban isolation, with a visually rich, almost cinematic tone despite its digital format. We're aiming for a high production value look. Your primary responsibilities will include pulling sharp focus, managing camera equipment (setting up, tearing down, and troubleshooting), and ensuring proper lens and filter changes. We'll be working with a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro, so familiarity with this system is a must. You should own a follow focus system, lens cleaning supplies, and a basic tool kit. We'll provide the camera body, lenses, and batteries. This is a senior-level position, so significant experience on set as a 1st AC is required, preferably with a strong reel demonstrating your focus pulling expertise. We're planning for 10-hour days, including a meal break, with occasional half-days. Compensation is $150-300/day, depending on experience. This is a small but dedicated crew, and we value collaborative spirit and a professional attitude. Must have reliable transportation to various Montreal locations. We're excited to find someone who can contribute to bringing this compelling story to life.
