Camera for Pilot

When a seemingly ordinary antique provides a portal to another dimension, a young woman's quiet life in rural New Mexico takes a dangerous turn. We're shooting a pilot for an independent sci-fi drama, leaning into grounded character stories with a touch of surrealism. We need a seasoned First Assistant Camera (1st AC) who can help us achieve a polished, cinematic look on a tight schedule. You'll be responsible for maintaining focus, managing the camera package, and ensuring all camera department logistics run smoothly. We're looking for someone with ample on-set experience (5+ years preferred), a keen eye for detail, and a calm demeanor under pressure. While we'll be renting a primary camera package (likely an Arri Alexa Mini), having your own basic slate, follow focus unit, and other essential AC tools would be a huge plus. Please share your reel or a list of recent projects. Shoot dates are approximately August 15-20 in and around Albuquerque; we anticipate 10-12 hour days.
