Color Grading for Feature Film

Seeking a talented Colorist for a feature film, offering $300-500/day for approximately 3 weeks of work in September 2026. This independent production is a character-driven drama with elements of a psychological thriller, exploring themes of resilience and isolation. The tone is intimate and suspenseful, relying heavily on subtle visual storytelling to convey emotion and atmosphere. We need someone skilled in enhancing narrative through precise color grading, bringing out the depth and mood of each scene. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Director and Cinematographer to establish and execute the final performing primary and secondary color correction, and ensuring consistency across all deliverables. You should have 3-5 years of experience in color grading feature films, a strong portfolio demonstrating your creative eye, and preferably access to your own professional grading suite (e.g., DaVinci Resolve Studio) with calibration tools. We are looking for a collaborative individual who understands how color can elevate a story. Our team is based in Sydney, and we will provide all necessary project files and clear communication throughout the post-production process.
